The Rally of a Region (ROAR)
is a 2-Day Winter Camp for the young people across our region.

The heart of ROAR is to create a space for us to build connections, make friends, and worship Jesus. This year we are also partnering with LifeLine to increase understanding and normalise conversations around mental health.

Hosted by HopeBathurst, and organised by Strong Nation Church, ROAR will be full of opportunities to have fun, make memories and dig deep.
This is 2 days that you don’t want to miss!

ROAR FAQs

What is Rally of a Region (ROAR)?

The Rally of a Region (ROAR) is a 2-Day Winter Camp for the young people across our region. It’s also an opportunity to explore our rural districts and communities. This whole event ends on a high, with our all-in Night Rally.

Why ROAR?

The heart of ROAR is to create a space for us to build connections, make friends, and worship Jesus. This year we are also partnering with LifeLine to increase understanding and normalise conversations around mental health.

Where is ROAR happening?

Organised by Strong Nation Church, this event is hosted by, and run at HopeBathurst, Kelso NSW. ROAR is full of opportunities to have fun, make memories and dig deep.

How does the 2 Day Camp work?

Event check-in is open from 6PM, we’ll be bedding down at HopeBathurst for 2 nights. They have generous amounts of space to accommodate us during this event, with bathroom and shower facilities on site. Guys and girls will be allocated to separate sleeping areas. At $50 per registration, this covers the cost of our stay including all meals during the event.

What if I just want to participate in the Saturday events?

Easy! You will need to register for a $25 day pass which allows you to participate in all the workshops, our charity walk and all our fun activities. This will also cover all the meals during the day including dinner after the Night Rally.

What are the Workshops?

This year we have partnering with LifeLine to increase understanding and normalise conversations around mental health. We will have multiple workshops running at the same time which includes an educational workshop for Youth Leaders or upcoming leaders. *

*All Youth leaders or upcoming leaders will be required to complete an additional waiver that covers the content of this workshop.

What kind of Charity Walk?

We intend to complete a 5km Charity walk around the Macquarie River in Bathurst. The idea is to donate a gold coin, complete the walk and all donations will then go toward LifeLine Central West. This is good way to give back to a noble cause and get out and about the community.

What if I just want to come to the Night Rally?

Even easier! All you need to is register for the Night Rally itself and it is 100% Free!! In order to make this ticket free, we will not be offering dinner under this registration.

What’s happening at Oberon CLC?

We’re heading over there on Sunday morning for their 10am service. We intend to flood God’s house with praise, worship and energy!
