Why We Give

At Strong Nation Church we divide our giving up into three areas.


First is our TITHE. We believe in the biblical principle of the first 10% being offered to God as a means of establishing priority in our finances and surrendering control to Him. This is by no means a law or commandment that contributes to salvation, however, making Him the Lord over our money in a practical way ensures that we are positioned for financial peace and blessing.


After we have delegated a tithe to the Lord, we are then empowered to steward the remaining 90% according to His priorities. This means living wisely, spending within our means, investing for growth and storing up for the future. Part of this stewardship is about “sowing seed” into the Kingdom of God.


In our church this looks like two types of SEED:

  1. IN—expanding Strong Nation Church
  2. OUT—taking Jesus into new frontiers


In summary,

  • TITHE goes to maintaining and sustaining the church staff and facilities.
  • SEED IN goes towards setting up better facilities and resources so that our church can have a greater impact on the community.
  • SEED OUT goes through our church to people who are carrying out the mission of Jesus in Frontiers locally, nationally and globally.


Tax Deductibility

We are fortunate to have an entity that is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)

Current legislation allows some of our Frontiers projects to be recognised as tax deductible. These projects are administered through our charity arm, Strong Nation Community Services. We can offer tax deductible receipts to those who sow seed directly into this entity. Simply use the following details.
